HESPERUS offers two kinds of workshops:

Early Music Workshops
HESPERUS’ Washington Academy of Early Music presents weekly, hands-on sessions designed for amateur early musicians focus on a particular repertoire: French Theatrical Chansons; The Odhecaton; Ludwig Senfl and the Quodlibet; English music from 1200-1500. Group viol and recorder classes are also given, and periodically a Collegium, or mixed instrument early music ensemble, is formed for a 6-10 week session.

skills workshops
HESPERUS presents ongoing evening, daylong, weekend, and full-week workshops designed to teach musical skills to amateur and professional musicians.

SoundCatcher Workshops
